This is not just another sex, drugs, and rock ‘n roll fiction story … although it is the eighties. This account really happened to Piper, a gorgeous Australian blonde who meets José, a sexy ‘bad boy’ guitarist, and songwriter of a popular visiting US rock band.
To protect people who are still alive, pseudonyms have been used and eventual outcomes have been changed slightly … but the instant attraction between those two was real and so consuming that it started a rollercoaster of events with José smuggling Piper into the States via Canada. They just had to be together …
Their fiery relationship reaches extraordinary highs and lows as the glamour and good times are slowly peeled away and the underbelly of this life is revealed. ‘Those little white lines’ unleash all of Piper’s inhibitions … her special necklace with a secret stash is always around her neck urging her on until suddenly, her life is out of control. The drugs, the alcohol, and then, the threesomes start to overwhelm her. Finally, she realises that she is better than this. But how can she escape?

about.

Kaz Piper grew up in the small country town of Wollongong, located in New South Wales, Australia. Wollongong, affectionately referred to as The Gong, is a seaside city, located in the Illawarra region. It lies on the narrow coastal strip between Illawarra Escarpment and the Pacific Ocean.
Kaz’s story starts in The Gong, where she led a relatively
quiet life for a gorgeous 26-year-old girl. She worked part-time modelling, as well as regular hospitality jobs at the local pubs, clubs and restaurants throughout her teenage years.
Her downtime was spent enjoying natures playground on her doorstep. She has fond memories of family and friends’ get-togethers at Ferry Meadow Beach, and, of course, the pubs and clubs’ shenanigans. Life revolved around the beach, the pubs, and club scene, and, of course, regular trips to Sin-City (Sydney) to catch the latest band in town.
Wollongong in the ‘80’s was the epi-centre of the rock n roll scene in Australia, with bands such as AC/DC, the Angels, INXS, Little River Band, Cold Chisel, Moving Pictures and Midnight Oil, all playing regularly in the local clubs and pubs around The Gong.
Writing her story has helped Kaz deal with emotions she had buried within for so long. As tragic as it may be, she hopes her story may have a positive impact on readers who have experienced similar life-changing events, and in turn, encourage them to tell their story.
Kaz and her husband, Glenn, now live in Northern
Queensland operating a very busy transport company.
